Optus installed phone line and internet. However not working. So the NBN tech will need to come out again. 

Range hood finished getting installed. However there was a dent in it so they took it back to cut another one to size.

Finished cutting out for the retaining wall.

Blocks ordered. Going to look awesome.

Driveway and brick fence quote done.

Had an engineer come out to have a look at the retaining wall and fence we want to do as part of the landscaping

Carpet - installed on Saturday 26/10/13... It's so soft you could sleep on it! :D 

My best mate also started on the Landscaping - Cutting more land away for the retaining wall. It's going to look awesome!

Tiles completed, tiler did an awesome job! Very Happy:) 

Oven, Cooktop and Hot water was installed yesterday. Just waiting part of the range hood to come back as it needed to be cut to size. 

Carpet getting installed next Saturday.

Today we received our Keys to our New McDonald Jones Home! 

Huge Thanks goes out to our Site supervisors Dave, Mark and James, Our Client Liaison Officer Jenni, Our Colour and Electrical studio girls Christine, Lerissa, and all the staff and tradies that have had been a part of our build. 

Last of all to Vince!!!  Soon as we talked with you over the phone back on 7/10/12. I new from that conversation that McDonald Jones would build our home because of the customer service we received from yourself. 

Thanks so much for your guidance, support and for coming in, or getting back to us on your days off.

We have had the best experience building with you guys, everyone we met, from the guy that delivered the ATF fence to the staff in your office. The customer service has been outstanding and we highly recommend McDonald Jones to anyone that is looking to build. 

Weekly Build update

Outdoor lights and fan installed

3/10/13 

Fly screens and fly doors installed 

Finalised our wardrobe design! 

4/10/13

PCI - all went well only a few minor things were found. 

# There was an imperfection on a kitchen cupboard door. 

# The fans that were installed didn't have the switch to tune on and off.

# Few paint touch ups 

Overall very happy with the house! 

Handover next Friday the 11/10/13. Appliances will be installed after the 15th as the range hood was out of stock. 

Booked the delivery of our tiles for the Friday arvo. 

Tiler starts Saturday 12/10/13
